As the '80s came to an end, the rock music world was burning for something different from the glam and big hair excess. There was a scene building in the Pacific Northwest that was about to take over the sound of rock. In 1991, MTV's Headbangers Ball took a chance to deviate from the typical '80s rock and heavy metal to play a video by a band out of Seattle. That video, 'Man in the Box', put the world on notice that the '90s would have a new and unique style of music the likes no one have ever seen before lead by Alice in Chains.
Formed in January 2023, Three Legged Dog brings the harrowing and haunting music of Alice in Chains that millions of fans have come to know and love. This Texas based tribute band takes a professional, business focused approach to bring their music to venues which stems from their core tenants, passion and commitment.
The Dog brings to the stage the ultimate, most authentic Alice in Chains music experience that spans from their Seattle beginning to the current era. Pulling from the large and agile catalog of Alice in Chains music, this allows The Dog to offer a different experience for their fans at each show. Whether it be the classic, driving hits that electrified the rock music scene of the early '90s, the beautiful and intricate acoustic arrangements of the legendary MTV Unplugged performance, or the heavy and visceral tracks from the current Alice in Chains era, music fans of classic rock, alternative rock, heavy metal, and even acoustical folk music can enjoy what Three Legged Dog brings to each show and can pair well with a multitude of musical acts.
